About Deposit Alternative

Deposit Alternative, LLC was incorporated in 2006. Our primary goal was to introduce into the US property market a product that will allow US citizens a cost-effective alternative of securing a property, particularly in relation to properties such as apartments or condos where the time between committing to the property and closing on the property can be several years.

After many years of research and development, Deposit Alternative has worked with key parties in the insurance, legal, banking, real estate and property development industries, which have all played a role in the development of our Deposit Bond product. We are now pleased to be able to offer our Deposit Bond product into the US property market. A Deposit Bond is a perfect alternative to the traditional cash deposit required when purchasing a property, hence our name - Deposit Alternative.

Deposit Alternative has a Binding Authority agreement with QBE Speciality Insurance Company, which is a subsidiary of the QBE Insurance Group, one of the world`s largest insurance and reinsurance groups. Deposit Alternative underwrites and assesses the Deposit Bond applications on behalf of QBE Insurance.
